Taitung is the third largest province of Taiwan, situated on the Eastern part of the island. To the West of this province is the central mountainous area and from its Eastern side one looks out over the blue Pacific Ocean.
Due to its remoteness this wonderful part of the island was the last to be discovered by colonisers, late 19th century. Until today the original culture has been well preserved and forms part of people’s daily activities. Mi Xian Honey Black is the name of this special black tea that comes from this area.
