Unfortunately, it is not yet possible to have an ordered product gift wrapped by us.

Due to the high quality of our loose leaf tea, the infusion has a lot of flavor. You can brew several cups of tea, usually 2 to 6, with one unit, depending on the type of tea. Each infusion brings a different taste experience. Dosing the amount of tea for your cup or teapot is a great advantage when you make tea with loose leaf tea. You can adjust the amount precisely to your desire and taste. Finally, some people also consciously choose loose leaf tea because it is seen as sustainable since no packaging material is needed to wrap the individual servings of tea. Read more in our blog .

Some teas are exclusive and have limited editions. As soon as the next picking moment of this tea has taken place and we have approved the end product, the tea will be back in stock as soon as possible. Tea is a natural product and harvests can be disappointing, fail or not meet our requirements. It can then happen that a tea is not available for delivery for a while. Leave a message if you want to be kept informed.

When an order has already been placed, it can unfortunately no longer be changed. If you have made a mistake in your address details, we advise you to contact us quickly to see if a change of address is still possible.

That depends on the country where your order is sent. For the Netherlands you can expect 1-2 working days, Belgium 2-3 working days and other countries 2-7 working days. You can track your package via the Track & Trace link you receive from us.

If you want to cancel an order, please contact us. Depending on the status of your order, we will look at the options for you.

Yes, our tea contains caffeine, which is often referred to as theine in tea. The caffeine content differs per tea. You will find more information about this on the product page of each tea.

There are two ways to create an account. The first is by clicking on the person icon at the top right of the website. Then you will be directed to the page to create an account. The second way is to create an account at the end of the order process when you get to the payment page.

During the ordering process you can choose from various payment methods. For the Netherlands and Belgium these are the following: iDeal, PayPal, credit card, Klarna, Apple Pay, bancontact and bank transfer. We offer various payment methods for each country to which we deliver, which are common per country. This way you can make a choice based on your preferences.

In the Netherlands you can register purchases free of charge for return within 14 days of receipt, provided you return the products in the condition in which they were delivered. In other countries outside the Netherlands you pay for the return of your package yourself.

Within the Netherlands, the delivery costs are free if your order value (including VAT) is at least € 30.00. We use the standard rate of € 3.95 per order.

Unfortunately it is not possible to exchange a product. However, it is possible to return a product within 14 calendar days after delivery and to place a new order.

Yes, that option is available. During the ordering process you can make a choice to place your order without an account or with an account. Without an account you do not have to create a password, but that also means that you cannot log in to see the status of your order, for example. For the most important status changes during the shipping process, we will send you an email so that you are kept well informed.

Our tea comes in a resealable stand-up pouch. If you seal the bag airtight after use and keep it in a constant dry, cool (room temperature) place, the tea will keep its taste for about 2 years. After that, the intensity of the aromas may decrease somewhat, but the taste will never really change. Avoiding (sun) light is also important to preserve the flavour. Tea can easily take over aromas. If you want to store the tea in a jar or can, make sure that there are no odors left over from other teas or other foods.

Organic tea is produced using methods that meet the standards of organic farming, which strives for ecological balance and the preservation of biodiversity. Tea can be grown organically by the farmer, but it does not have a quality mark because the farmer has not applied for it. This may be because the process to an organic quality mark costs time and money. Farmers regularly opt for organic cultivation simply because chemical fertilizers and pesticides cost money. HAO TCHA tea does not have a certification for organic cultivation. The Empress Oolong, Oriental Beauty Oolong and Honey Black are teas that are not sprayed to invite the Jacobiasca formosana grasshopper to visit the plantations. Without biting the leaf of the tea plant, these teas do not develop their unique honey flavor.

Loose tea can be brewed in different ways. It is important that the leaf is given room to open during infusion so that it can release more flavor. You can use 2 grams of tea for a cup of tea and 6 grams for a pot. The pulling time is on average 1 to 2 minutes and the water temperature between 80 and 100 degrees. Consult the brewing advice for the tea in question. A stainless steel or paper tea filter is very suitable for brewing loose tea. But also a teapot with a (built-in) strainer, the frenchpress and magic teamaker make a nice cup of tea.

In the case of a business order, you can enter your VAT number and company name during the ordering process. These are then stated on the invoice. You need this if you want to reclaim the tax levied from the tax authorities.

We pack our products carefully for you. In the unlikely event that your order does not reach you in good condition, please contact our customer service . Of course, the damaged product can then be returned free of charge. If you have another complaint about one of our products, we would like to hear from you so that we can find a suitable solution.
